REST API (/v1):
canceled tenant (B-3)
|
What happened
The workspace this key belongs to was deleted by its owner. Deleting a workspace revokes every one of its keys in the same step, so callers normally see HTTP 401 unauthenticated instead; this HTTP 403 appears only for a request already past authentication at that moment. Health, OpenAPI, and device-flow routes do not pass through this entitlement check.
What it means
Deleting a workspace ends it: its keys stop working, envelopes still out for signature were voided, and its data is erased shortly afterwards (see account). A subscription that ends does not produce this error. A cancelled or unpaid workspace returns to the free sandbox instead, where test keys keep working.
What to do next
There is nothing to restore through the API. Ask the person who owned the workspace; a new workspace starts in the sandbox with a fresh test key.
Problem body
Every error the API returns is an RFC 9457 problem document with media type
application/problem+json. The type member is the
stable identifier to switch on; docs_url is this page.
